There are some individuals who desire the ability to go their own way on food. To support local farmers. To eat things other may not want to eat. To invest their dollars and their relational capital in the commonwealth and its farmers.
They are not many… but are growing.
Senate Bill 47 acknowledges their choice, aids our state’s small farmers, and allows citizens of Kentucky to help rebuild our states health – both governmental (bottom 5 in nation) and general (bottom 5 in nation for health of citizens).
